Message about COVID-19 from Carey Williams MakeUp & Hair
Providing a clean, safe environment for you and our workday is our #1 priority.
Our team already followed strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by local agencies before the effects of COVID-19, but we’ve now adopted extra safety precautions and placed even greater emphasis on disinfection. We remain committed to continually evaluating what must be done to meet the needs of our actors and adhere to (and exceed) Work Safe BC, Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and B.C. Heath Ministry regulations.
The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you and us as Artists during our workday:
We have taken a refresher course on Salon Infection Control and earned certificates (displayed below)
We wash their hands thoroughly before and after contact with every client.
Our Trailer uses an EPA-registered disinfectant on tools, containers, and all surfaces that you may come in contact with during your visit.
Barbicide is used for 10 min disinfection of all non-disposable tools between talent
Cavicide is used for disinfection of the work space with a 1 minute contact time with Cavi-Wipes
A new set of gloves, chair cover, is used for every client and worn at times must be changed during the service.
We ask that you please stay home if you’re feeling sick, and the same goes for our team. We are working hard to keep you and our film community safe, and we know we can count on you too.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. We are thrilled to safely get back to work, thank you for your co-operation!
